The Art of Public-Fighting ;-)

Travelled in Chennai's local buses? or metro trains? If no, then I should say that U r really missing an excellent opportunity to watch one of the most interesting, vocabulary-rich, hilarious public-fightings ever... also the chance to get a participation ticket for urself, if U have the potential :-P

Amazing it is..the basic design of the fight... the process.. various levels.. the dedication of both the team members (sometimes one-on-one too).. not to forget the cha-ing and ayyo-ing audience [there are other kinds too..giggling..like me :-D]... the result will however be the "blaming/berating of the conductor" if the venue is a bus!

The ever best combat, I had the privilege to witness, happened last month in a Koyambedu-Tambaram bus... Cause was that an old lady (say granny), who was standing, in the manner of passing tickets and money (between the conductor and the passengers) was hitting a much younger lady (aunty, as it were) who was seated nearby... so ds process of passing and hitting went on...until our aunty got really annoyed & started shouting at d granny..

What started as a small arguement grew into a very big verbal-battle..in the process we all came to know their stories...as to where they were going..d reason..n what not! Slowly few more people, inspired by these two, joined the crew..men and women..few shouting at d aunty...few at d granny..n all at d Conductor..LOL...him being d reason f all...Had he done his job properly without lazying out in his chair, our aunty wudnt hav been rubbed off ;-)

I was seated right behind d aunty...imagine how i would have laughed...i was caught on the process and became the victim for few seconds :-D Whatever, by this time we reached d place where i had to get down...While getting down i heard the conductor say:
" Patti ma..inga vandhu nillu...nee enna idicha nan kovichuka mataen"
Granny: "idho varaen da..unna modalla odhaikanum"
